Course Synopsis

Designed to enhance professional competencies, the SMU Advanced Certificate: Corporate Banking Solutions (IBF Level 2) programme focuses on attaining a deeper understanding of different corporate banking solutions that meet the more complex banking needs of corporate clients. 

Benchmarked to industry best practices under the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Standards framework, the programme covers key aspects of project financing, treasury risk management and debt capital markets solutions. Facilitated by faculties with both banking and corporate experiences, participants can look forward to gaining insights from case discussions on real-life applications.

The broader perspectives will provide competitive advantages to corporate bankers when pitching to C-suite executives, to achieve greater share of corporate client’s wallet for the bank.

Senior bankers, industry veterans and/or consultants will also be invited to share their perspectives and insights on the trends and developments on the banking landscape in Asia, and their implications for financial institutions. 

Who should attend

This programme is designed for participants who have completed the foundation program for Corporate Banking (IBF Level 1), or show proof of competency at the foundation level. Corporate banking professionals should preferably have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
