Adam Wong was a veteran banking professional with over 24 years’ of experience in corporate and consumer banking in Standard Chartered Bank, DBS Bank and American Express Bank, in Singapore, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He had extensive experience in designing and managing business models focusing on integrating SME banking into consumer banking, corporate banking, cash management and trade finance.
Adam has over 20 years of financial training experience. He currently manages a consulting firm, focusing on the design and deliver quality training programmes in SME financing, credit evaluation, cash management, loan syndication, trade finance and project finance, and strategic business coaching to senior managers, for financial institutions in Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Goh Chong Theng
Chong Theng is banking veteran with over 28 years’ experience across local and foreign banks such as Rabobank, ABN Amro, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank, in Singapore and the US. He held various senior management positions, heading up corporate and capital markets, and was responsible for business units such as trade and commodity finance, loan syndication, investment banking advisory and global financial markets.
Chong Theng left the banking industry in 2009 to join the private sector. He is currently the Corporate Finance Director of an Indonesian conglomerate. He is also a non-executive director of a public-listed company in Singapore.
In his previous banks, Chong Theng conducted training in wallet-sizing for relationship managers. He holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from McGIll University.
Kelvin was a senior banker with over 13 years in corporate advisory of global financial markets with a local bank. He was responsible for providing corporate clients with customized multi-products and cross-asset risk management solutions to hedge liabilities, including large-scale M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in structuring interest rate and foreign exchange risk management solutions, and tailored-made treasury solutions for major corporations, GLCs and MNCs.
In 2009, Kelvin joined the corporate sector as Chief Financial Officer of a Singapore-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REITs). He oversees all financial matters of the REIT as well as the development and implementation of capital and risk Management strategy.
Kelvin has been actively engaged in financial trainings for about 15 years, conducting training for degree and post-graduate diploma courses, public seminar and in-house training for financial institutions and corporations. Kelvin holds a Master of Finance from the Macquarie University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
